EMARX and Patrimoni Acoustic contribute new sites!
Acoustic Atlas is delighted to connect with EMARX and look forward to listen to the sites he has recorded.
EMARX focuses his artistic production on the study of acoustic and sound space, especially from his ability to generate affection through perceptual memory. Trained in acoustic engineering, he often uses his theoretical background to implement technology with the intention of exposing this skill, looking for an aesthetic and sound discourse that enhances these spatial translations. At the same time, he has addressed the issue of acoustic heritage with special interest. In this line of research, his academic work "Simulated acoustic space: potential in artistic practice" stands out. He is currently part of the Barcelona Patrimoni Acustic collective dedicated to promoting the importance of this heritage in Catalonia.
